Children's Ministries

There's a warm, inviting, and caring environment for each child that participates in our children's ministry here at Pine Eden.  We teach the Word of God through age-appropriate lessons and activities that are designed to eventually lead each child to a true relationship with Jesus Christ.

Birth-2 years

We have a clean, well-equipped nursery that is staffed by a capable and caring worker who is sensitive to the needs of both the children and their parents.  The nursery is available at each service on Sundays and Wednesdays.  The nursery is also available during some special events that are planned for young parents.

3 years-Kindergarten

Opportunities for this age group include:  Children's Church, Sunday School, M&M's, and AWANA.  In addition to these regularly scheduled activities, there are specially planned seasonal activites, as well.

1st Grade-6th Grade

These children enjoy the same opportunities as the age group above, with one exception.  3rd-6th graders do not attend Children's Church.

Sunday School and Children's Church

We are honored with the priviege to share the love of Jesus with our children.  At Pine Eden, we do our best to nurture and guide each child to a loving relationship with our Heavenly Father.  We offer prayer and Bible lesson times with opportunities for questions and discussion.  We also try to provide hands-on experiences to reinforce God's Word through games, crafts, and music.  We understand how important it is that each child is able to build a strong foundation of the Bible in their lives.

M & M's

Music and MInistry is offered on Sunday evenings.  During this time, children learn songs and dramas to worship and praise King Jesus.  We have a short object lesson from the Bible, work on songs and learn dramas to share with the church, have craft time or mission projects, and a small snack.

AWANA

Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.  Here at Pine Eden, we teach the importance of Bible verse memorization through our AWANA program.  Each Wednesday evening begins with opening assembly where we say the pledges, sing the AWANA theme song, and have a short lesson from our Commander.  In our large group time, each group learns Bible lessons and is introduced to the memory verse for the week.  During small group time, we break down by grade and work on memorizing our weekly Bible verse as well as a craft or activity that reinforces the weekly Bible lesson.  Children also get to enjoy a fantastic meal and recreation time.
